Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 37 and a mom of one child. I have been married almost 18 years and live in Pennsylvania. I am really looking forward to becoming a part of the CC family. I hope to figure this place out quickly and make some much needed spending cash as my son is 10 and 5'8 and going through clothing like wildfire. Anyone else have extremely tall children? I feel like I am shrinking! ha ha

As for kids: don't have any - and I'm average height - so I can't say that I have any similar stories to yours. But I would be willing to bet that you have some pretty good article ideas on your hands there.
My baby sister hit a growth spurt in her teens and became six inches (!!) taller than me almost overnight. I haven't stopped feeling like a shrimp ever since.

I was 5' 10" when I was 12 which was a bit of a drag. It's tough to be a girl and be taller than most of your middle-school teachers. Luckily, I didn't grow all that much more.
